2 Nephi 27:28–32

But behold, saith the Lord of Hosts:

I will show unto the children of men
_that it is yet a very little while
_and Lebanon shall be turned into a fruitful field; 2313
_and the fruitful field shall be esteemed as a forest.

And in that day shall the deaf hear
_the words of the book,
_and the eyes of the blind shall see
_ out of obscurity and out of darkness.

And the meek also shall increase,
_and their joy shall be in the Lord,
_and the poor among men
_shall rejoice in the Holy One of Israel.

For assuredly as the Lord liveth
_they shall see that the terrible one
_is brought to naught,
_and the scorner is consumed,
_and all that watch for iniquity are cut off;

And they that make a man an offender for a word,
_and lay a snare for him that reproveth in the gate,
_and turn aside the just for a thing of naught.
