2 Nephi 29:9–11

And I do this that I may prove unto many
_that I am the same yesterday, today, and forever;
_and that I speak forth my words
_according to mine own pleasure.

And because that I have spoken one word
_ye need not suppose that I cannot speak another;

For my work is not yet finished;
_neither shall it be until the end of man,
_neither from that time henceforth and forever.

Wherefore, because that ye have a Bible
_ye need not suppose that it contains all my words;
_neither need ye suppose
_that I have not caused more to be written.

For I command all men,
_both in the east and in the west,
_and in the north, and in the south,
_and in the islands of the sea,
_that they shall write the words
_which I speak unto them;
_for out of the books which shall be written
_I will judge the world,
_every man according to their works,
_according to that which is written.
